Sekhar IAS District Magistrate Unnao had joined
at Unnao on 17th May 2008.Just after 18 days of
his joining environmental function was organized
by the department of wild life and forest. Mr.
Shekhar surprised to see the worst condition of
such bird sanctuary of National level, but it
had been proved to be a stepping stone that inspired
him to modify and uplift the bird sanctuary and
motel. He announced that what ever the fund will
be required for renovation, it will be made available
and said that it should be so developed that Nawabganj
Bird Santuary as a National heritage may be put
on the national map.
